JJ Lin – Before Sunrise

In some way I feel music is the best way to pour out my numbness heart where the emotional journey may go through in times of loss and adversity.

How much pain is stuck in the throat?
How many tears have wet the pillow?
How many scars do you have
That you feel no one can understand, that you can only keep silent about?
How many endless nights has there been?
How much loneliness has gone unheard?
How many dreams have become empty before they even began?

Wait until the night turns over, and you’ll see that it’s a new day.
When the tsunami fades, you’ll see that it’s just the rise and fall of the tides.
Don’t wait until the end to discover that the beast in your heart
Gave up before it reached its destination.

The heart isn’t that weak. There’s always something worth fighting for.
Our lives can’t be full of gifts. Pain is unavoidable.
Don’t be afraid of the imperfections of life.
Sunlight is at every corner where the cracks appear.

So what if you have to start over?
Let your heart beat with mine.
We’ll walk together in the night gradually growing darker.

Why not be brave and break through every crack in life?
Sunlight will gradually fill everywhere.
